What kind of recepticle do you use for you dirty disposable diapers?

When my son was in his bassinet in our room, we would tie a plastic grocery bag to the end of it to throw his dirty diapers in. It worked great, although, it was not very attractive. He is now sleeping in his own room and we need something nicer than a grocery bag for his diapers. I was given a diaper genie for a shower gift, but it is big and white and ugly. I have not set it up. I have thought of using just a plain old trashcan but we have dogs that will get into it. Any suggestions? What do other moms use?

I use the Diaper Dekor Plus for his diapers. I guess it's big and ugly and white.. but it keeps his room from smelling like ****.. lol. Anyways.. if you don't like that option you could always use a more attractive trashcan with a lid and some baby powder scented bags to put them in to keep the smell away.
