What are great wedding shower gifts?
I keep thinking of wrong things. how do I write inside the invitations to bring a gift. should I write it cuz some of the bride's friends are broke and they never went to showers so they dont know that a shower is a time to bring gifts.
You can write a brief "suggestion list" of things you know the bride will want, also include any gift registry she's with. But, if the bride's friends are broke, I don't see how they are going to afford to buy gifts.

How much do you spend on wedding shower gifts? On a gift for the actual wedding day?
I am helping throw my friend's wedding shower. I also plan on giving her a gift at the shower and a gift on her wedding day (I do this with everyone). I'm wondering, how much is customary to spend? I know people say "what you can afford," but I'm looking for a more exact figure. I am putting in money for her shower (food, gifts, games, etc.). I guess I'm nervous about this because she has been a total "bridezilla." What do you usually do? Thanks!
I would say about $50 for the Bridal Shower since you are helping out financially in the planning of it-
And depending on the wedding itself I would say usually about $75-100 (unless you can afford more)
