How to decorate a baby shower. Theme for nursery is Noah's Ark.?
This is my 32 year old daughter's first and only child. And I want the theme to be Noah's Ark. Any ideal's for the center piece on the tables and around the room for the shower!!
Neat idea! You can have the serving plates for the foods be in animal shapes like elephants, tigers. You can find those plates almost anywhere. Go to the kids section in a store like Target or Wal Mart and see if you can find plates in those shapes. That way after the party, you can give them to her as a gift for the baby! You could also make a game out of the animal theme too. Do a word scramble that has different animal names. Have a small present for the one who gets the most right! As far as center pieces go, do doves. You know where the dove brought back the leaf to Noah, it will go with the theme and also go with the story of the Ark! Tons of cool points for your cool idea! I may have to steal it for mine!

How do i get rid of nursery web spiders that keep coming up out of the bath tub drain?
It seems like every time we go to take a shower there is a nursery web spider in the bath tub and we know they are coming up from the drain. We kill the ones we see but there are always more coming up. does anyone know how to get rid of these spiders in a drain or at least know what is safe to poor down a drian that will kill them?
Could you leave the plug in the drain, except when you are running water down the drain? This way, if the spiders are really living down there, this will cut off their food and air supply, as well as access to your tub. They should disappear after a while.
Occasionally I see a large brown spider in our tub, but I thought they crawl in to get water from the drain, and then could not get back up the slippery sides of the tub. I never heard of a nursery web spider. The ones I see are the kind that makes a web like white cotton candy with a little tunnel in the center. I wouldn't use chemicals, but I don't think it is too bad to kill a spider once in a while. They multiply quite fast, and are not endangered. Sometimes I catch them in a glass and let them go outdoors... bugs don't scare me, but I'd rather not share the house with them either!
