Question about cloth diapers and wipes?

Ok, so I'm planning on making the switch to cloth diapers and was thinking I'd try to do away with disposable wipes too. I've seen a lot of flannel wipes sold online and was wonering if there was any difference between them and the flannel sold at fabric stores. And if it would be possible for me to just make them myself by cutting down a yard of flannel myself. If I can, what size should I make them? also, can I pre-moisten them and keep them in the wipes warmer, or should i keep the solution in a spray bottle and keep the wipes separate?
I also have a question about using cloth diapers when you're not at home. Is ist necessary to purchase a "wet bag" like many cloth diaper retailers sell, or can i just keep the soiled diapers in a large ziploc bag until i get home?

The flannel is the same as what is sold in stores, so you can make your own. 8" x 8" is a good size as it will fit the wipe containers you already have. Just serge the edges. You can make some with double layers and some single layered ones to see what you prefer. I also use baby was cloths as wipes.

Some of the ones we sell are made out of hemp or bamboo, organic cotton etc.

The wet bags are great as they get washed with the diapers - you could use a ziplock bag, but that's something you generally throw away - if you want to get away from disposable stuff, I'd get a small wet bag. They fit 3-4 diapers so great for day trips.

You can make your own solution - you can pre-wet your wipes for the day but I would not pre-wet more then that as after a while, they might start to smell musty as there aren't any preservatives in your solution.

I have a bottle that has a top more like dish soap to wet my wipes, and I do a few at a time - that works well for us. For outings I have a small tupperware container that fits about 6 wipes that I pre-wet.

As a wipe solution I use one drop of baby soap and a squirt of baby oil to about 2 cups of water.
