What should a guy wear to Sarah Brightman concert?

I am 22 and accepted an older female friend's invitation to Sarah Brightman concert in Dallas. After listening to her music for last few days, I believe the audience would be sophisticated (aka boring) adults in 30s-40s. What is the appropriate thing to wear for me. I know T-shirts are out of question. I am thinking of a khaki trousers with brown leather slip-on and a plain shirt, not too formal or not casual either. help me out, I don't wanna go there overdressed or under dressed.
I will be escorting a lady in her 30s, this is my first time doing that. Any suggestions on etiquette and conduct.
