Did you pack a seperate bag for baby for labor?
So I am packing my bag for the hospital and It's already getting kind of full. Mostly because I made a bag of snacks for the nurses station since they help you the whole time and it's taking up a lot of room. So did anyone bring a bag for themselves and a diaper bag for the baby?? Or is that too many bags?
absolutely pack a seperate bag! one reason is because the hospital may give you lots of freebies (blankets, undershirts, pampers, formula, bottle nipples, and such) and you won't be able to fit all that in your bag. plus, depending on how long you stay in the hospital, you may need a few changes of clothes for baby, a few hats, pairs of socks, if you bought him a pacey, bring that and any blankets you want to bring. i would pack a diaper bag the way you would pack in once you and baby are on-the-go for real.
AND, people will probably bring you even more gifts and baby do-dads in the hospital...you'll need more room than just your bag!!
