Christians, would you consider this ethical?...?
Imagine that you are watching the news. You see a picture of an American missile being skillfully guided so that it misses the enemy bunker and slams into an orphanage. The announcer tells you that this is exactly where the missile was supposed to hit, describing the precision that was necessary to avoid the tanks and hit babies. He tells you that these tactics will cause the enemy to submit to our requests.
How do you react? Would you be outraged? When nations go to war, they normally take special precautions to avoid killing babies.
But isn't this what happened in Exodus? According to the bible, the big blow deliberately missed Pharaoh (whose heart was first hardened by god), missed the military, and missed the slave drivers. Instead, we are told it was aimed specifically at children.
How is this good? Why would a moral god needlessly kill tens of thousands of defenseless children?
They don't care what he does, it will always be good. I once asked what act god could commit that they would oppose and they said there was none.

So, tell me... Why would she say that "people have thanked her for all she has sacrificed and for dropping everything" to meet up with Oprah in Copenhagen to try to get the Olympics in Chicago? I don't get it? Are the Obama's really that arrogant? What a waste of money too!
