how would you have done it , if you had too?
ok recently my mom threw some of my old toys away (part of my teddy collection) as a punishment as i didn't tidy my room after loads of warnings and smoked in school and lied about it to my parents etc, she tried to donate them but the Charity's around here said no as the have enough toy at the moment, so they went in the dumpster! (my plan was to save the toys and get them back when mom wasn't around, but she had bagged the toys up in the same black trash bags as my baby brothers gross dirty diapers, not impressed, so they went. if you wanted to dispose of toys as a punishment and wanted them to not get taken back out the trash, how would you do it, would you do the same as my mom, or bonfire or what also would you have done it in front of me or went i wasn't around? if donating wasn't an Option.
I have bagged up toys too and if they were worth anything, dropped them off at Goodwill and if not, thrown them away. I give 2 chances and the after the 3rd reminder, you get what you get. The older yo get, the less chances you have. I only had to throw my son's stuff away once. After that, he became excellent about picking his stuff up and putting things away. The stuff I sold? He actually got the $$ once his chores were done.
