Tote Bag Teachers
How much weight will a Coach tote told?
I am a traveling teacher and move between schools in my district to service my students (I have a group of middle school and elementary deaf students). Every year I buy a tote from Target and it gets used a LOT because I put my paperwork, folders and activities in it when I move between my schools. Yet, every year I need a new tote because the totes from Target wear out.
Anyways, my husband was pondering buying me a good, sturdy tote for my birthday and I found a nice Coach business tote....BUT, my totes get a lot of wear and I generally carry about 5-8 pounds in my bag. I'd hate to have one and ruin it...but would love to stop buying yearly bags.
Anyone know how much weight and wear and tear a Coach tote could handle? Should I just keep buying the Target bags because of the needs I have and how much it gets carted around?
The tote I like is 16 inch long, 10.5 high and 5 inches wide.

It would take 13 years of buying a $30 bag from Target to equal a (guessing at price) $400 Coach tote. I would be so nervous about ruining it but then again, that's a very nice tote!

Fall: Back To School Gifts For The New Teacher
Back to school lists are everywhere. Stores are crowded with people rushing around to prepare kids for school. September approaches quickly! Whether your child is in first grade or fifth; a simple gift for their new teacher is a great idea!
Some schools have teacher appreciation days; other teachers never receive the recognition they deserve for their hard work. 5. The Essential Tote- Teachers are known for carrying tote bags. Why not choose a special tote as a gift! Giving a practical gift that is useful will be remembered. Useful, practical gifts are always appreciated. Purchasing a tote will be appreciated more if you add a personal touch. Take note on the colors around the teachers room if your not certain of the style and color of tote to purchase. It's always nice to go with a neutral color with a monogram. Find a tote that has pockets for all of the teacher's accessories!
Overall whatever you choose be sure to include a nice thank you card signed by your child with your gift. Finding the perfect gift online is the easiest way to appreciate that special teacher in your child's life.
