Is it normal for white gold to get a yellow tint after only 3 weeks?
I have a white gold engagement ring and i've only had it for 3 weeks and its already got a yellow tint to it. I know your supposed to get it re-dipped after time but isn't 3 weeks a little fast?
i have had my white gold engagement ring for three years (from a well known and very highly reccomended jeweler in my area, im POSITIVE it is 100% real) and not once in the entire three years i have had it has it ever developed ANYTHING that i would call a "yellow tint" nor have i ever heard of having a ring redipped. i dont even get it cleaned that often, and i have never seen it any color but what it is supposed to be
so my guess is the ring is not as high quality as you were lead to believe.
someone please explain to me this whole white gold redipping thing? i have never once heard of this, and i made sure i knew the warrenty of this ring inside and out.

Maintenance

For everyday maintenance, you may use warm water (do not use boiling water), soft brush and mild soap (I recommend that you use detergent free soap) to clean your white gold ring.
