Funnest part of having fish, decorating the tank!!! Designing your tank?

hey i have a 10-gallon fish tank I will be having guppies in it! I would like some examples (pictures) or ideas! This Question includes gravel,statues, lights, little plants, rocks. That type of stuff. I don't want the accessories it cost me an arm and a leg to get though. i was thinking mixing gravel and putting like black and a Hot purple, black and a Hot pink. that type of stuff. Please dont give me just ONE idea. (for example saying" i think blue and black would be good"! NO!!! i don' want that i want you to sorta design your own tank like say " i would put hot pink gravel (pic link here) and black gravel (pic link here) with pink plants (pic link here) and a couple pink and black seashells (pic link here) ( BUT PLEASE i would link for the link s to be from a store.

After about two months of use here are my thoughts on the use of netbooks: 
First In a small country the right shift key it is difficult to hit and are always impressed 
Enter key by mistake. 
2.Battery Life begins at 11 1 / 2 hours and is degraded within 8 hours 
3.The left profile touchpad bar is cheap Clink feel and sound. 
4.products What's in a box does not include the DVD restoration

Good little computer - Nerd Review

I purchased this computer for work. Since our corporate applications run on XP and not on 7, I decided to dual boot. I used "gparted" to set up two equal partitions and then installed XP on the first partition. Once I got that working, I reinstalled 7 Starter on the second partition. 7's bootloader detected both operating systems without a hitch. You must have installation media to do this, and you lose the default 7 recovery partition. Also, you must be able to transfer the installation media to bootable USB (I used PEBuilder and USBPrep for XP, and UltraISO for 7). Also for XP, I used nLite to slipstream ACPI drivers into the XP install. 

I upgraded the memory of the computer to 2GB. I used Corsair VS2GSDS667D2 ValueSelect 2 GB PC2-5300 667 MHz 200-PIN DDR2 CL5 SODIMM Laptop Memory (here from Amazon). The recommended memory upgrade was not compatible with the computer. The computer runs great with this upgrade. 

I have used the webcam. My coworker says I come out clear on video and audio. I am in an office with two overhead light fixtures - not dark, but not terribly bright. Also, there was no echo with the audio. I believe the microphone is at the top of the screen and the speakers are on the bottom front of the netbook. 

The only complaint I have is with XP - if I install all the drivers from ASUS, it asks me to set up the touchpad each time I log into Windows. However, if I do not install the chipset drivers, and use the ones that default with the XP installation, I don't have this problem. This may make the computer slightly slower than intended, but I have not noticed any problem. 

Windows 7 Starter runs great and I have no issues with it. I did not have to do any additional driver installs after the re-install. I can browse files on my Home Group (at home) without issue. Also, my printer was mapped and my home WiFi was detected without any problems. At home I use a Linksys Wireless-N router. At work we use Cisco Access Points with LEAP authentication. XP connects to this (with the appropriate software) without any issues. I would like to be able to turn WiFi on and off a little easier (a button would be nice), but not a big deal for me. 

I have run this computer for 9 hours on the battery (browsing the web, installing/uninstalling windows components, backing up/imaging the hard drive, etc). Windows reported 2 hours left when I finally shut it down for the night. I am very impressed with the battery life. 

Overall I am very happy with the laptop. It meets my needs for size and performance. I have already purchased a second one for a coworker. As a side note, I could not get Acronis to work from a USB drive with several days of trying. I was, however, able to get Norton Ghost to work first try.

An amazing little machine

We bought this netbook before going on a trip to the UK. We wanted to be able to watch Amazon On Demand videos on the plane and on our train trips and also be able to check email, help plan our day to day itinerary and have a place to offload the days pictures from our cameras. 

This netbook handled everything flawlessly -- and it has an incredible battery life! On our trip back to the states, we watched videos on the 2 hour train trip between Cardiff and London and then watched video's for the entire 6 1/2 hour flight back to the states and still had about 2 hours left on the estimate (the battery icon will tell you how long it thinks you have left on the charge). So, while you're not going to get the full 14 hours watching videos, it's still far better than most of the other netbooks out there. 

The battery life was the main selling point for us, seconded by the video card. While a netbook will never be a replacement for my main PC, it is quite handy for travel and taking back and forth to work, and I could not ask for better than this one.

This netbook has everything I need to surf the web, Skype, check and send e-mail. I'm very satisfied with the battery life and performance of this product. I have nothing negative to say about this netbook.

For netbook, it's outstanding

OVERALL: It's hard to beat this netbook right now, especially its battery life. 

PROS: 
- Battery life easily tops 10 hours even with heavy use. 
- Runs fine on just 1GB of RAM (starts to slow down after you have 4 major applications running). 

CONS: 
- It's heavier than it looks (mainly because of the battery) 
- Win7 Starter doesn't let you easily change the desktop wallpaper (search for "regedit windows starter desktop wallpaper" to learn how to get around the limitation) 
- I wish there were dedicated page-up/down buttons (you have hold the Fn key to page-up/down). 

CONCLUSION: 
- Windows 7 Starter is a fine OS for this netbook. People like to complain about it, but most casual users will find it easy, familiar, stable, and quick, even on on just 1GB of RAM. If you don't like it, install Linux over it (or Chrome OS in 2011). 
- I highly recommend this netbook.

A great little tool that's working better and better for me every day.

I purchased this little computer for my wife, but she had trouble getting used to its touchpad and chicklet keys, preferring to stick with her MacBook Pro. I, on the other hand, love it and prefer it to the MBP. Small size, GREAT battery life, small size, great battery life .... what can I say? I do love the Mac OS, but Apple seems unwilling or unable to meet the demand from the market for economical netbooks. 

This $350 10" ASUS netbook has me thinking seriously about saying "bye-bye" to Apple (I can get 4+ of these for the cost of the 1 MacBook AIR). Okay, His Highness Steve Jobs is a big motivator as well for my probably "goodbye" to Apple!!! Finally we have a version of Windows (Windows 7) that's pretty darned reliable and a decent alternative to the Mac OS). 

Is the near-destruction of Apple Computers for a second time from "arrogance in the marketplace" in the offing...? 

Back to THIS PC: I value battery life VERY highly, now that I have EXPERIENCED truly great battery life!!! I suppose I average 9 to 10 hours, maybe more. Where else will I get this?!!

Nice netbook

I bought this netbook to have a very light machine to carry around at conferences and meetings. 
Basically, i needed something I could use for presentations, emails, coding and document editing. 
The netbook comes close to the declared 14h with my usage (wifi on, screen at minimum) with 
Windows and something less with Ubuntu 10.4, which is unfortunate as I prefer working with 
the GNU/Linux system. Ubuntu works out of the box, which is nice and is also somewhat more 
responsive (I never believed the phenomenon was noticeable). I miss Keynote a lot, though.

I completely love this netbook. I get plenty of battery life to get me through the whole work day (with the screen brightness turned down a bit obviously.) 

Windows 7 Starter is obviously complete crap. I really don't think this machine is fast enough to effectively run Windows 7 anyways. I only booted into it once to verify that the machine runs and to resize some partitions. It is a bit painfully slow using Windows 7. I installed Linux and it is like a whole new machine though. Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.4 runs nearly flawlessly on this machine. I think I had to make one change in grub and install the backport wireless package. Anyways, it is night and day faster. These machines really should ship with Ubuntu pre-installed. 

I don't really get some of the other reviewers gripes with the screen. I would prefer a matte screen as well, but really, it's not *that* shiny. Everyone's right about the fingerprint magnet case though. I didn't buy this as a fashion accessory anyways, so the fingerprints don't really bother me too bad. 

Long story short, buy this. 

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Amazon really pissed me off about the whole shipping thing. It took them five days to ship this item to me. It only took one day to get to me after UPS got it. It seems to me that they are intentionally holding onto these items for longer to try to get people to buy Amazon prime. The reason we get free shipping is because we're spending a bunch of money in their store. I probably won't be buying from Amazon again unless the item is *significantly* cheaper here than elsewhere. I almost bought it from newegg and my next purchase will almost certainly come from there.

Goood, user friendly

For this price you hardly expect anything like this. It is the only netbook able to work for such a long time. On almost full-power mode it lasted 8 hours on bateries. Light, user friendly software (though Microsoft), made work easy and smooth. Buy and enjoy. It's worthy of your attention.
